Central Teacher Eligibility Test Assam 2019

Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET, will be conduct by the Government of India (Assam) under The Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the 13th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Assam) on 8th December 2019 (Sunday) for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII.

All the candidates required to apply only online mode for CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) December 2019 on the official website of Central Teacher Eligibility Test – on www.ctet.nic.in

Educational Qualifications for Primary Stage (Classes I-V):

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

 Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. EI. Ed.).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).

 who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two year of such appointment as primary teacher”.

Educational Qualifications for Elementary Stage (Classes VI-VIII):

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. EI. Ed.).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc. Ed. or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

OR

Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET.

Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11th Feb 2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online on the official website of CTET Assam (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) on website ctet.nic.in.

Method of online application form submission –

Log on to CTET official website ctet.nic.in.

Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.

Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.

Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature

Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card and net banking

Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.

SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person –

Only Paper – I or II: Rs.350/-

Both Paper – I & II: Rs.600/-

General/OBC (NCL) –

Only Paper – I or II: Rs.700/

Both Paper – I & II: Rs.1200/-

Mode of Payment:

Remittance through E-Challan by depositing the prescribed fee in CTET Exam (CTET Assam – Central Teacher Eligibility) Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.

Payment by Syndicate Bank e-Challan– Payment by Canara Bank e-Challan

By Online-mode (Payment by Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking).
